I have a 1125R and a 1125R w EBR Ecm. The EBR Ecm is the way I run my 1125R as it lets me drive it up to 100% AFV for cold starts. As soon as I fire the bike up on cold start, I can feel the heat load increase and the temperature gauge climb up. Once the gauge has reached its highest temperature, I pull to a stop and let the engine cool for a few minutes. I get the same results with the EBR Ecm. The engine runs great at cold start. The problem is that when I fire up on cold start, the temperature gauge does not change to the highest temperature. The gauge changes as the engine warms up, but it does not change to the highest temperature when I start my ride. I know the engine is running well at cold start. When I get home, I fire up the EBR Ecm with the original 1125R ECM and the temperature gauge does not climb to the highest temperature. I'm curious if there's some setting I can change to allow the gauge to be accurate. TunerPro shows this gauge only reading on cold start when the original ECM is not installed. As soon as the original ECM is installed, the gauge starts reading correctly. Has anyone else seen this?
