The two tables below illustrate how these energies and frequencies are measured. The first one shows the range of the visible wavelengths, and the second one the range of the electromagnetic energy frequencies.
Each of the cells consists of three values. The first column indicates the type of electromagnetic wave or energy that is being measured. The second and third columns indicate the frequency of the wave or energy, and its wavelength or length. The larger the number that is in each cell, the greater the intensity or amplitude of the wave or energy.
