With the exception of the RGCB1_13 sample at a call rate of 100%, high-quality data cost for methylation array analysis is 5,000--7,000 USD/sample. The high cost of methylation array analysis and the brief lifecycle of cancer samples make it challenging to conduct frequent, sequential, long-term, and detailed follow-up analysis of tumor methylation profiles in the clinical setting. Since its discovery, the methylation-based technique has been rapidly disseminated and implemented in various clinical settings. However, the main disadvantage of methylation-based methods is that they lack high sensitivity and efficient treatment. With the emergence of epigenetic drugs, we have to improve the detection rate of methylated DNA. Electroporation-based ddPCR is a promising method of point-of-care detection because of its high sensitivity and rapid response. There are several advantages of ddPCR, such as high stability, precision, broad linear ranges, and minimal cross-reactivity among probes. Therefore, we will discuss the problems associated with the methylation-based technique and the methylation-based diagnostic methods. We then will elaborate the analytical characteristics of the new methylation-based diagnostic methods and their clinical therapeutic potential, and immunotherapy for cancer. In a2f8a02ae1 .
The global epileptic focus was evaluated in groups of young and infantile epileptic patients, and the result showed that in these categories, epilepsy is predominantly focal, although it does occur in the indistinguishable or generalized pattern. This study contributes to our understanding of the epileptic pattern in these patient categories. In addition, the classification of epileptic syndromes according to the age at onset was critically reviewed. The review demonstrated that the focal lateralized pattern is dominant, followed by the multifocal pattern. The authors discuss the importance of a comprehensive and sensitive EEG recording, as well as a standardized clinical classification, in the evaluation of epilepsy in these patient categories.Reference a2f8a02ae1 ." d2c66b5586
