Ultraviolet is an R-rated action/sci-fi movie that was made as a direct to DVD for the Sony BMG label. The film follows the story of a high school girl that is unknowingly being stalked by a killer. The story progresses as the girl discovers her true identity and the truth about her destiny. The film stars Milla Jovovich as the main character, Monica Cross, and was directed by Kurt Wimmer.

The Ontario government has confirmed the deaths of three hospital patients who died in a three-day span.
One person was pronounced dead after being taken off life support in the early hours of Friday, April 25, according to the Ministry of Long-Term Care.
The second person was taken off life support at a Toronto hospital on Wednesday, April 30, followed by a third at another Toronto hospital on Thursday, May 1.
